Junior College


Admission are as per merit and other norms led down by the H. S. C. Board and the Govt. of Maharastra, from time to time Students are informed to go through the guidelines and admission notices on the college notice-board, before seeking admission in the college.

  • 1. A student who has passed S. S. C. examination conducted by the Maharastra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, the Board, is eligible for admission to F. Y. J. C class.
  • 2. The college will admit a student, Who has passed an examination other than that, conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education , provisionally, such student may contact to the college office immediately, before securing admission, for guidance in securing Eligibility / Migration confirmation from the S.S.C. Board.
  • 3. Those students who have awarded in the S.S.C. merit list or those student who have scored more than 50% of marks for XI Sci. admission, 55% of marks for XI com. Admission, 45% of marks for XI Arts admission (all reserved casts less 5%) are admitted to F.Y.J.C. directly in the first attempt. Such students / parents are welcomed to see the principal with admission form. They need not to stand in the queue for submission of their forms for admission.
  • 4. No admission for repeater students to Arts/Commerce &Sci
  • 5. Students who are seeking admission to XIth Arts/Commerce & Science are required to note that admission is as per the merit, that merit is based on the aggregate / percentage of marks scored at the qualifying examination and that the seats are earmarked /reserved for different categories of students, as follows.
    • CATEGORY –I – 50 % :
      • 1. Scheduled Caste (SC) 13 %
      • 2. Schedule Tribe (ST) 7 %
      • 3.VimuktaJati {( 14 and other notified caste)(VJ-A)} 3 %
      • 4. Nomadic Tribe {( 28 and other notified Tribes)(NT-B)} 2.5 %
      • 5. Nomadic Tribe {( Dhanagar and other notified Tribes)(NT-C)} 3.5 %
      • 6. Nomadic Tribe {( Vanjari and other notified Tribes)(NT-D)} 2 %
      • 7. Other Backward Class 19 % [( Including 2% for special backward class) (OBC and SBC)
    • CATEGORY –II – 7 % : (Adjusted in respective categories)
      • 1. Dependent Wards of - 5 %
        • I.Employees on transfer
        • II. Employees of defense force
        • III. Ex-Servicemen
        • IV. Freedom Fighters
        • V. Children affected by natural calamities
        • VI. Physically handicapped
      • 2. Sports, Games and cultural achievers - 2 %
    • CATEGORY –III – 50 % : (Open / General Merit) Procedure for admission
      • I. Provisional admission from will be issued and accepted as per the schedule notified on the notice board.
      • II. Merit list will be displayed as per the date and time notified on the notice board. Along with the admission form, the following documents are to be submitted. Documents Required for Admission:
        • i. Mark – Sheet of S.S.C. or equivalent exam (Attested Copy)
        • ii. School Living Certificate (Original)
        • iii. Caste Certificate (Original + Attested Copy)
        • iv. Sports, Games and Cultural proficiency certificate countersigned by DSO (Attested Copy)
        • v. Freedom Fighter, Employees on transfer , Ex. Servicemen, Natural Calamities affected, physically handicapped etc. certificate (Attested Copy)
        • vi. Other requirement will be notified on the notice board. NB :
          • i. All admission are provisional until confirmed by appropriate authorities.
          • ii. Students belonging to reserve categories should submit caste verification certificate at the time of admission.
          • iii. Students are required to ensure their medical fitness certificate of authorized medical office

Senior College


Admission are as per merit and other norms led down by the University and the Govt. of Maharashtra, from time to time Students are informed to go through the guidelines and admission notices on the college notice-board, before seeking admission in the college.

  • 1. A student passed H. S. C. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination is eligible for admission in the college..
  • 2. The student passed an Examination other than, that, conducted by H. S. C. Board of Maharashtra State will be admitted provisionally on the condition of confirmation of eligibility / migration from H. S. C. Board.
  • 3. There is semester pattern of examination for B.A.-I, B.Com-I,. Admissions to B.A. / B.Com / B.Sc.
    • Part - I are as per merit and reservation rules. The reservation categories are as under.
      • 1. CONSTITUTIONAL RESERVATION -50% :

            • II. Merit list will be displayed as per the date and time notified on the notice board. Along with the admission form, the following documents are to be submitted. Documents Required for Admission:
              • I. Mark – Sheet of H. S. C. or equivalent exam (Attested Copy)
              • ii. School Leaving Certificate (Original)
              • iii. Caste Certificate (Attested Copy)
              • iv. Domicile Certificate (Attested Copy)
              • v. Sports, Games and Cultural proficiency certificate countersigned by DSO (Attested Copy)
              • vi. Freedom Fighter, Employees on transfer, Ex. Servicemen, Natural Calamities affected, physically handicapped etc. certificate (Attested Copy)
              • vii. Other requirement will be notified on the notice board. NB :
                • i. All admission are provisional until confirmed by appropriate authorities.
                • ii. Students belonging to reserve categories should submit caste verification certificate at the time of admission.
                • iii. Students are required to ensure their medical fitness certificate of authorized medical officer
                • iv. Students from other colleges affiliated to PunyashlokAhilyadeviHolkarSolapur University, Solapur will be admitted provisionally, on production of ‘No Objection Certificate’. Admission will be confirmed on receipt of Transfer Certificate.
                • v. The students from colleges affiliated to the Universities other thanPunyashlokAhilyadeviHolkarSolapur University, will have to produce migration certificate. Then only their admission will be confirmed.
